CHRIS PEARSON

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Chris brings strong management skills to Quorum, and has developed extensive commercial relationships within the security industry, since taking the helm in 2006.  Prior to this, Chris operated his own consulting company, specializing in the commercialization of new technology. Before that, Chris had a career in sales and marketing management, as former GM for Commodore Computers and Regional Vice- President for Identix Inc.

Chris holds an MBA from Macquarie University’s Graduate School of Management, and a Security Consultant’s License.  Along with his wife and daughter Sarah, Chris is a keen Rugby Union fan, barracking proudly for the Wallabies: as a result, Chris has developed highly-advanced  ‘coping with loss’ skills.

YVONNE PEARSON

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR B.Bus(Hons)

Yvonne is married to Chris Pearson – and she has the sympathy of all who know them both.   In October 2018, Yvonne accepted the role of Executive Director, overseeing documentation and compliance.  Until the end of September 2018, Yvonne worked for over 20 years at Ramsay Health Care Limited, a publicly-listed ASX Top 50 private health care company, based at their global head office.  Her experience across the areas of operations, finance, legal, company secretarial and risk management gives Yvonne invaluable experience and insights, which assist greatly in her position as an Executive Director of Quorum.

Yvonne is originally from Adelaide, where she achieved a Bachelor of Business (Honours). She has been a Justice of the Peace NSW for over 17 years. After a Wallabies game against the All-Blacks, Yvonne’s main role is to convince Chris that life is still worth living.

COLIN OTLEY

GENERAL MANAGER

Colin migrated to Australia with his family in 2007, and immediately took up an operational role with Quorum. Since that time, he has progressed through the ranks to become General Manager in 2015. Previously, Colin held senior management roles in the transport industry in the UK, and served with the British Armed Forces for 7 years.

Colin’s ability to converse at all levels, and gain the trust and respect of all our stakeholders, is critical to creating win-win outcomes for all. Colin has a Diploma in Security and Risk Management, and is a licensed Security Consultant.

CHRISTINE HEALY

FINANCE MANAGER

Christine has been the accounting and financial whizz at Quorum for almost seven years.  She has a direct and forthright manner with both debtors and creditors alike, and her word can be trusted totally.  She is extraordinarily gentle and kind, and has a menagerie of pets at her home, including cats, rabbits and a cockatiel – all which must drive her equally-calm partner Alan quietly mad.   Christine has a photographic memory for almost every detail of our business.   She loves the ballet and musicals, along with her two lovely grown-up daughters.  She always listens patiently and feigns great interest when our Managing Director brings up the subject of Rugby Union.

MATTHEW BROOKS

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Matt has been with Quorum since completing his degree in Mechatronic Engineering at Wollongong University six years ago. In that time, Matt has progressed from basic proposal collation and price/product checking, to become our Senior Projects Manager. Matt brings a passion for new technologies and principles, matched with an encyclopedic knowledge of available systems, to his role.

Matt has recently completed the prestigious Prince2 Project Management course, which is recognised globally as the best training program for Project Managers.  Matt is the is also very popular with all our staff and contractors, as he always has a cheeky smile and jocular approach, to lighten the day’s load.

JOSEPH ANTONIOS

KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Joseph has had a long and stellar career in security, for one so young! Joseph worked with Hills Industries for 4 years, working closely with security installers, providing technical expertise and support with many large installations, including Mobotix systems. Joseph is a recent Quorum addition, and has already proven his value by bringing his extensive knowledge of a wide range of security systems, and in-depth Project Management expertise to his role – gained by working alongside dozens of security installers on major projects around Australia for almost a decade. Joseph holds a Networking & Telecommunications Diploma, and has completed the Mobotix Lab Certified Training Course.

Joseph’s role in this project, should we be awarded, would be client liaison as well as oversighting all logistical aspects of this project, including site liaison to prepare the groundwork for upcoming installations.

STEVEN NGUYEN

PROJECT LOGISTICS AND BILLINGS MANAGER

Steven had a successful career in banking & finance for almost a decade, before joining Quorum late last year. Steven’s experience managing insurance for 120 super funds, and as a general advice consultant with CommBank and ANZ banks, equips him with good communication skills and experience for his role with Quorum, which has a focus on back-office planning and logistics co-ordination for our installation projects, and also working closely with our clients on progress claims and invoicing.

Steven holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting & Finance from U.T.S. (University of Technology, Sydney).
